Our kids. They are the center of our world, our everything. There’s not a day that goes by that we don’t tell them we love and adore them. Valentine’s Day is another opportunity to remind them of that love. Each year, I put together a themed Valentine dinner or snack to celebrate our family and the love between us. Here’s how our Donut Valentine Party came to life.
To create this donut Valentine party you’ll need access to quality, fresh, Valentine-themed donuts. I mean, what’s a donut party without the star of the theme? Scope out bakeries in your area and place a special order if necessary. Fortunately, I was able to walk into a local donut shop and pick up themed donuts on the morning of our party.
Donut Peg Board
With the donuts ordered, you’ll next need to focus your attention on purchasing a donut board. I found mine on Amazon however, you can also find them at hobby/craft stores. I chose a 12 peg donut board since we are a family of four. If you have more people at your gathering you may want to size up to a larger board. The letters on the board did not come with it. I added them using alphabet stickers.
Decorations
The sprinkle table covering is from Hobby Lobby as are the donut dessert plates. To accent them I layered the dessert plates on top of bright pink plastic dinner plates. To add another layer of color to the place sertting, a pale pink napkin was folded in half and stuffed with plastic flatware. I secured the napkin with a donut sticker.
Alongside the donut board is a simple sign I made on my computer. To give the sign some stability, I taped it to a piece of cardstock before propping it up on an easel.
In addition to serving donuts at this party, the menu also included fruit and milk. To serve the milk, I chose glass bottles with a donut label. I spooned the fruit into pink footed parfait glasses. To complete the look, a pastel donut banner was strung over the table.
This donut Valentine party was easy to put together and a super sweet addition to the day’s festivities. Our boys LOVE donuts, so the theme was not only cute but fitting for this family and our love of breakfast pastries.

I love this idea so much! Donuts are my weakness and my family loves them. This is perfect for a special Valentine’s Day morning!
So much fun!
